Hiromi seemed very regal and serious behind her veil, until we got to the part of the ceremony where she repeats after me in Japanese. When I started talking Japanese, she started laughing. I guess my Japanese was the funniest thing she ever heard.)

For me it is the high point of the wedding ceremony. Lars and Sandra prayed the Our Father in German as I prayed in English. We stayed perfectly in sync and we all knew where we were in the prayer even though we were praying it in different languages. Another wonderful wedding moment.)

There are so many reasons why I am grateful to perform weddings on the Kona Coast. One of the reasons is that I get to work with some amazing teams. Congratulations to Debbie and Robin at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Debbie and Robin received the circle of excellence award today (4/21/15). This is a national award and I am so excited for them. They work so hard and go the extra mile for everyone. Ladies, it is an honor for me to be on your team!

We were so happy to welcome them back to the Big Island for the first time since their wedding!)

Here were a couple of things: all the guests were given matching sunglasses, when Jason and Jaime turned toward everyone for the presentation, the group all said “surprise” with their sunglasses on. After the ceremony, the immediate family went to the ocean to throw in leis to remember family members that have passed away. This was a fun wedding and a great group of people.
